A track from a mixtape I'm considering doing. (American Gangster remix/Christmas Song)

So you may or may not know this, but Jay-Z has released acapellas of all the tracks on his new album for us fine re-mixers to play with. So far there is a bunch of albums out there using them. A led zeplin based one, a godfather based one etc etc, so I figured I'd try jump on the bandwagon, with the only logical source for my samples..wham!.

So far I've done one track, mixes "Last Christmas" (hence why I decided to release it now) with the track "American Gangster". I'm not sure if I will go though with the whole album though...it would be nice, especially since hiphopdx.com is hosting a contest for remixes.

Preview or download the track below.

Rhyming In Rainbows

Well,

I finally finished my most recent time wasting project rhyming in rainbows. The mixtape consists of songs using only samples from each track from the new radiohead album In Rainbows. So, say, track 5 on this mixtape Def Cover by Murs features only samples from the 5th track off In Rainbows which is All I need.

You can download the album 2 ways. One normal download, which is a 56 MB .zip file. Or you can download a torrent, which is hosted on the piratebay. If you dont know what a torrent is then just ignore this and download the normal way. You can also preview each track below, note though, the previews are a lower quality than the actual files you download.

Beastie Boys - Intergalactic (remix)

One of the first tracks I ever made. Beastie Boys - Intergalactic mixed with 3 variations of the futurama theme tune as well as some other futurama samples.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians

Beastiemixes.com is currently hosting a competition to create remixes using samples from the, now public domain, movie "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians". So far there is only one entry, mine.

Mash Potato Mixtape

Here's a small mixtape I put together a while back. Essentially I was working on a track and realised I still didn't know to much about mixing music so I decided to work on a few mash ups.

Its in the form of 2 zip files as my file host doesn't expect files bigger than 50MB's

Part 1: Download [ZIP]
Part 2: Download [ZIP]

Intro
In Da Club - Callin' out
Linguistics - Shake Your Rump
Kickpush - Open Letter
Guilty Conscience - My Adidas
Triple Trouble - Go
New Friend - Outta Control
Shook Ones - 99 Problems (The Token Black Album Track)
Dirty Harry - Ante Up
Outro

Beastie Boys - 3 The Hard Way (remix)

Another track I did a few weeks back. No reason for it, really. I heard the Elton John track "sorry seems to be the hardest word" and I figured I'd sample it. Quite happy with it.

Chocolate Rain Remix

Here's a simple mash up I made when I was bored a few months back, when remixing chocolate rain was the in thing.

My new home

Seeing as I have so many accounts at different sites for my music I figured one place to call home would be smart.

Theoretically, this one will be used to bring them all together.
